Dopo un colpo al casinò che non ha portato i risultati sperati, Lupin e Jigen, decidono di impossessarsi delle preziose matrici che un potente falsario, il Conte di Cagliostro, tiene nel suo castello. Arrivati sul posto però, i due si imbattono nella bella Clarissa, promessa sposa in fuga dal crudele Conte che la desidera per meri motivi di interesse. Seppur braccato da Zenigata, Lupin aiuta la ragazza e si trova quindi costretto a dover affrontare un nemico insidioso.
