Una scossa tellurica apre una breccia in un lago dove riposano alcune uova preistoriche. Ne nascono una sorta di lumaconi carnivori, i quali attaccano civili e militari di una base vicina. Le creature vengono uccise ad eccezione di un esemplare ancora chiuso nel guscio, portato nella base militare a scopo di studio, L'uovo si schiude e il mostro minaccia la protagonista, ma cade sotto i colpi dell'eroe di turno.
