John Connor vive nelle strade e fa l'hacker. Un nuovo terminator, che ha potere sulle altre macchine, è stato mandato per ucciderlo. Il modello, chiamato Terminatrix o TX, ha le sembianze di una donna e non ha bisogno di armi perchè la sua mano è dotata di un cannone laser ed è inoltre programmato per trasformarsi in una macchina. TX ha il compito di eliminare tutti gli altri organismi cibernetici. Ma un nuovo tipo di umanoide, T 101, viene inviato per aiutare John....
