Durante i festeggiamenti di Halloween un gruppo di giovani decide di avventurarsi in un ospedale abbandonato dalla fama sinistra. Nello stesso momento un ragazzo sta disperatamente cercando la sorella scomparsa. A controllare le mosse dei giovani compare un ex attore di telefilm che è diventato un poliziotto. Ben presto l’ospedale si rivela una micidiale trappola per il gruppo che deve condividere la compagnia di un fantasma spietato e vendicativo. Lo spettro infatti riesce a possedere i corpi dei ragazzi facendoli lentamente marcire. Per liberarsi c’è solo un modo, ma la soluzione è nascosta proprio nel passato inquietante dell’ospedale.
