Macho Callagan, tenente delle Guardie Federali, assuntosi il compito di sbaragliare la banda capeggiata dai fuorilegge Butch Cassidy e Testa di Ferro, riesce ad entrare in contatto con quest’ultimo, facendosi passare per un bandito.
