Green Room vede protagonisti quattro giovani ragazzi, membri della banda punk rock The Ain’t Rights, che si trovano ad assistere loro malgrado ad un omicidio in seguito ad una performance live in un locale frequentato da skinheads. Il bassista chiama immediatamente la polizia ma i proprietari del locale nascondono un segreto e decidono di imprigionare i ragazzi nella stanza tradizionalmente destinata agli artisti in attesa di esibirsi. I ragazzi aspettano l’arrivo della polizia, ma quando capiscono che non c’è nessuna intenzione di risolvere la questione con le buone, sanno di non avere altra scelta se non provare una rischiosa e probabilmente letale fuga.
