Un uomo d'affari che si crede rovinato incarica un amico di ucciderlo. La sua morte permetterà alla moglie di incassare una forte assicurazione. Poco dopo, però, la sua situazione finanziaria migliora ed egli, benché non riesca a rintracciare l'amico per evitare che lo uccida, sfugge miracolosamente ad alcuni attentati.
