Ronnie e il fratellino lasciano New York per trascorrere un’estate nella casa del padre, su una spiaggia della Georgia. Da quando i genitori hanno divorziato, Ronnie si è chiusa in se stessa e non ha più aperto il pianoforte, sprecando un talento che da piccola l’aveva già consacrata fuoriclasse.
