Negli anni Cinquanta, dopo aver registrato con piccoli gruppi (per la Commodore) e big bands con archi (per la Decca), Billie Holiday ha firmato il suo ultimo contratto a lungo termine con Norman Granz. Granz l\'aveva voluta come stella dei suoi tour Jazz at the Philharmonic di meta anni Quaranta e quando la mise sotto contratto nel 1952, cerco di ripetere con piccoli gruppi la magia di quei giorni. Questo LP rappresenta uno dei primi lavori realizzati da Billie Holiday in qule periodo. La affiancano in questa incisione: Charlie Shavers alla tromba, Flip Phillips al sax tenore, Oscar Peterson al piano, Barney Kessel alla chitarra, Ray Brown al contrabbasso e Alvin Stoller alla batteria. Come bonus di questa nuova edizione e stato aggiunto un brano, If The Moon Turns Green, registrato nel corso della stessa sessione, ma non incluso nellLp originale.
