Apparat, alias di Sacha Ring, ritorna dopo un silenzio durato cinque anni con un nuovo album: LP5 , sempre per la Mute Records di Daniel Miller.Il disco è composto da dieci tracce dove la vena malinconica e angosciante, registro caratteristico del suo sound, non manca e non si fa desiderare. Al progetto collabora il violoncellista Philipp Thimm (vincitore insieme allo stesso Apparat del premio Soundtrack Stars Award per la colonna sonora del film Capri Revolution) integrando la parte strumentale allelettronica con trombe, contrabassi e archi.
