Tra il 1980 e il 1983 arriva l'onda di interesse del pubblico discotecomane per il fenomeno Afro termine utilizzato per indicare quel particolare melting pot di stili derivanti dalla musica africana, nascono in quegli anni molti club destinati a diventare veri e propri templi della musica, a Gambara (Bs) nasce il leggendario TYPHOON.
