Questo LP presenta il sesto album di Gene Vincent, Twist Crazy Times! , originariamente pubblicato dalla Capitol Records nel 1960 e da tempo non disponibile su vinile. Le sessioni di registrazione si sono svolte nel mese di agosto 1959. Jerry Merritt, che era stato in tour con Gene, si unì alla band nella primavera di quellanno e da allora ne è diventato il chitarrista. A Vincent e Merritt si sono aggiunti celebri session man, come Red Callender al basso, Sandy Nelson alla batteria, Jimmy Johnson al pianoforte, Jackie Kelso (ex Johnny Otis Show) al sassofono e tre voci maschili note come The Eligibles. Questa nuova edizione include come bonus track due rare registrazioni dello stesso periodo: Pistol Packin Mama e Anna-Annabell .
